I highly recommend avoiding Getwell Urgent Care in Macomb. Two months ago, I took my wife there for lower back pain. After calling ahead and confirming they were accepting appointments, we arrived, provided our insurance and ID, and were seen by a lady who seemed to be a doctor (but turned out to be a nurse practitioner). Have pink eye and went online to schedule my appointment and uploaded all my documents and etc and came to my appointment 15 mins early and checked in (my appointment was for 12:30) and it’s now past 1pm and haven’t been seen and the place keeps getting busier and busier as I await. Delightful experience. Appointment was for 7:30, we got pulled to the back at 7:25, got our tests done and left the office by 7:40. Friendly staff. I’ve taken all 3 of my kids here within the last 2 months and it’s always a smooth and quick experience. The pharmacy in the clinic is also very fast and beats waiting hours at CVS.
Very grateful for Get Well Urgent Care Macomb. The team is phenomenal, and they truly care about you and your health. We were forced to head in over the holiday, and were treated for pneumonia. We did not have an extremely long wait, yet when seeing the doctor, I felt she took the time and answered all of my questions fully and cared for me and my daughter. I like I was able to schedule an appointment. I walked in, staff was friendly and took care of me right away. Once in the room, the doctor came within 5 minutes. I liked the doctor, took time and not rushing to get me out. I like there is a pharmacy right there too. My appointment was at 10:30 and was out with my prescriptions by 11:00 and that included getting a chest X-ray too.
