I took my husband to this Urgent Care because he cut his finger and needed assistance quickly. I have had a great experience with this clinic in the past, however that wasn’t the case this time. When we arrived, I asked the desk clerk if my husband could be seen pretty quickly and she told me there was 2 people ahead of him with zero sense of urgency. I highly recommend avoiding Getwell Urgent Care in Macomb. Two months ago, I took my wife there for lower back pain. After calling ahead and confirming they were accepting appointments, we arrived, provided our insurance and ID, and were seen by a lady who seemed to be a doctor (but turned out to be a nurse practitioner). She didn’t order an X-ray for the back pain, instead suspecting a UTI and taking a urine sample. The lab results later showed no UTI, but during the wait, my wife suffered anxiety and continued pain. This is my family’s new urgent care. I hate urgent cares, i honestly think they are jokes. Just make up any DX they want and send you on your way. This one is so professional and they all are so sweet. The NP at this location take their time and really try to figure out the issue. The other plus is they have a in house pharmacy. This is so convenient and they are super fast and also so caring. I tell everyone about this place now. Keep up the good work staff🫶🏼
I suffered from horrible ear pressure and allergies. The entire week I felt as if were living under water or inside a cave! Unable to be seen by my general practitioner I took a chance on scheduling with this urgent care location. Thank goodness for the warm and friendly customer service they provided. The level of care provided to me was tremendously appreciated. I highly recommend this office for anyone in need of urgent assistance.
