I highly recommend avoiding Getwell Urgent Care in Macomb. Two months ago, I took my wife there for lower back pain. After calling ahead and confirming they were accepting appointments, we arrived, provided our insurance and ID, and were seen by a lady who seemed to be a doctor (but turned out to be a nurse practitioner). I went there on Saturday Jan. 18th. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The Nurse practitioner was very thorough and she seemed liked she really cared about the patient. I believe her name was Susan. Then, today she called me back to go over xrays and to see how I was doing? By far, the best experience I ever had at an urgent care ever.
this is the third time I’ve been at this UC in the last month of sick season — once for me, once for my daughter, and once for my son — and each time we’ve been given exceptional care. The staff is so nice and the facilities are clean. Their pharmacy staff are VERY quick to fill prescriptions, making it an even easier trip.
Have pink eye and went online to schedule my appointment and uploaded all my documents and etc and came to my appointment 15 mins early and checked in (my appointment was for 12:30) and it’s now past 1pm and haven’t been seen and the place keeps getting busier and busier as I await. Delightful experience. Appointment was for 7:30, we got pulled to the back at 7:25, got our tests done and left the office by 7:40. Friendly staff. I’ve taken all 3 of my kids here within the last 2 months and it’s always a smooth and quick experience. The pharmacy in the clinic is also very fast and beats waiting hours at CVS.
