The website shows a picture of a hot tub-- THERE IS NO HOT TUB. They have actually removed the hot tub and not taken down the picture of the pool area that shows the hot tub still there. Completely disappointed. And if I hadn't been there with kids I would have left and asked for money back. I would have stayed at the Hampton had I known.

I can’t comment on the rooms bc we didn’t get to see one. We seen a hospital room that night instead, at the McLaren in Clarkston. We were still fully charged for the hotel room. We did a no call no show. But I ended up going into a coma on the way there and my s.o was so worried about me that he didn’t think to call to cancel under all that distress. We can’t get a refund. Still waiting for the $50 hold to be released off my credit card for incidentals. We stayed 1 night gif Valentine’s Day Feb 14 to Feb 15 and checked out on the 15th at 730 am and today is the 20th and the $50 hold is still on my credit card. I just hung up the phone with a foreign man that I could not understand his accent at the hotel inquiring about this for the 2 nd time and he was rude and in a hurry to get me off the phone. This hotel was the best experience we've had in a long time. Savannah at the front desk was so friendly and helpful and was always doing her best! The room was so clean and had a really functional spot to put all of our luggage and the bathroom had a bidet. The breakfast was wonderful and Toni at the front desk the next morning saw my 5 year old son admiring an owl key chain from the little convenience store and gave it to him for free. This hotel manager likes to scam guests. They charged me with a false smoking fee of $150 even though myself and my friend have never smoked in our lives. They made a racist remark about my friend saying that “your type always does this at our hotels”. Do NOT recommend staying here if you enjoy not being scammed!
