Cameron didn't come through with one dang promise or assessment he made. Somehow I'm the process my promised interest went up 1.2% at closing day. I lost 1500 in cash back and Giovanni promised to offset processing fee to make up for it because he didn't see the change on closing day! Don't bother dealing with this guy, plenty of other qualified loan officers out there. His company contacted me about making a refinance, I was not interested after careful consideration. He called me and convinced me to go through with it and I only agreed to pay for an appraisal if I would be reimbursed. In the end the refinance did not work out and he went back on his word and so I paid for an appraisal and went through a whole annoying time consuming process for nothing. I'm writing this review to give others who are considering using Christopher Thomas as their lender, an inside look at my recent experience with him. Like others reading this I came here to read his reviews. I saw mostly positive reviews and a few that weren't. Given that he had mostly positive reviews I overlooked the negative ones. Got called and emailed almost daily from David and Victoria with this company. Not once but twice I received fraudulent appraisals and then was ghosted by David after requesting a status update. Guy was nice, and I have owned 4 houses previously, refinanced 2, so I know the process and was not needy, but “closing” seemed to be a revolving timeline, with inaccurate information. I was recommended Christopher Thomas from a relative and after reading reviews I decided he would be a great loan officer to go with when buying my first home. Everything started out well but after viewing a few homes I noticed the communication with Chris was inconsistent and then non existent as we went further down the road. I took action by arguing the appraisal behind the scenes to increase the appraised value by 2k so we could help you with closing costs as much as possible. He did everything he said he would and I only dealt with him throughout, not five different people like other companies. He knew my case , however I took the option of an extra $500 but only received $395.61 and they took $15 from my account as a wire fee. David said he would give me the additional $120 but I haven’t heard from him since my closing ?

I have asked this company numerous times (6+) to STOP calling me, but they wont. I talked at length to the first rep then respectfully declined after thinking it over. But yet now every few days a different person from the same company calls and will not take no for an answer. They keep "yes but....but....but...." after I repeatedly ask them to leave me alone.
